The goal here was simply to get a good exposure of the church and practice composition. I know there are a lot of these shots out there but they make for decent photos in my opinion. I do wish there had been some clouds in the sky but hey, theres always another day. Let me know what you think.

I actually like the stark flatness of that sky, it emphasizes the clean lines and upward motion of the church and church steeple, and makes the building pop out at the viewer. Very strong composition with the lines of the building terminating in the bottom corners of the shot, and wonderful clarity, sharpness, and detail. The exposure is perfect, with the tones of the white part of the steeple still different from the sky, making it distinguishable (which is hard to do, especially in black and white). Wonderful POV and good horizontal framing. I only wish that there was a little more room above the tip of the steeple since you have so many vertical lines leading the viewer's eye to the top of the shot and there's not enough room for the eye to focus on or "rest" at the top. But really excellent all-around and I love the simplicity and cleanness of it, which suits these Northeast Protestant churches ;). TFS!
