Here's a shot i did a lot of pp work on to get a certain mood. Although it wasn't my original intention I sort of like the way it came out. This photo started out as a practice shoot for lighting and went a little south so instead i learned more about my photo editing program. Let me know what you guys think.

I am shocked!
Such an intense photograph, such color, such saturation, such a beautiful model, and no one has anything to say?!?
Thats odd...
Your photo... Thats contrasty as hell. Shes blown-out to all hell. She's red as hell. But you know what, I kind of like it too.
I am guessing the photo was over-exposed (at least when Wal-Mart scanned it anyway) and you were trying to get some detail back in the highlights... Am I right?
There is zero (0) detail in her cheeks, but thats not all bad...
I like the mood. I like the contrast.
The skin seems a bit odd... I don't know if it could go warmer or colder... I can't place it.
I like the saturation in the lips. Even though there is no detail in them, I like how RED they are, tempting, enticing, summoning even, its a nice contrast to the crazy texture of the rest of the image...
Any experiment is a good, and successful, experiment. So, good job.
I actually like this because it is so harsh. Her expression of her face matches the harshness of the light in your 'experiment'.
Well done,
Marleen
This is so visceral and powerful and full of mood. It has a gritty inf-your-face sensuality that is not lewd or cliched at all. The sharpness and the lighting and contrasts used bring out the various textures in her skin, lips, eyes, and hair. The lighting also shines differently on each part, making this a very dynamic shot. I love the straight-forward stare from her as well as the POV almost directly at her face. The framing and cropping is great and has good balance, especially with those red earrings glowing and popping out from the background, tieing in the red tones on her skin, lips, and in her eyes. Powerful lighting caught in her eyes. It instantly reminded me of my black and whiteself portrait. Excellent detail. I know how incredibly difficult it is to not get overexposure on these types of shots as I made the same mistake with my photo, but really stunning. TFS!
