Taken last week at Tom's Sister cabin in Maine.

Yesterday we finally got rid of all the bits and pieces of snow. AND could finally see the ground!

but

As I sit here looking out my window we have fresh snow on the ground and are expecting about 8 to 12 inches before tomorrow morning! The kids are hoping for a snowday (no school) but everyday they miss in the winter they need to make up in the summer......

It was a dark snowy day... shot in raw converted in photoshop elements........

Beautiful shot Tricia!! Wonderful contrasts between the chair and the snow! Looks like FUN..NOT!....A cold sit for sure! It's cold here with a stiff wind! Nice work, so glad to see you posting!

Oh my heavenly days! That is just TOO much snow to think about. This is wonderful. I love all the warm colored graphic lines in contrast to the soft white snow. Excellent light and contrast, great clear color and my greatest sympathy. :))) Outstanding shot, Tricia. Many thanks and warm regards,
Shelly

Hello Tricia!

Well observed and composed, using the warm wood colors against the cold winter monochrome color. Well done!

Winter is indeed much more fun when you are active in winter sports (^_^).
Cheers!

Robert

Hi Tricia,
Funny, you are waiting for the summer, while I just posted a summer photo.
Youre winter scene is beautiful ! Great light and super colors of the wood and the snow. Very good compo.
Joop!

Hi Tricia,

I really like the contrast of the warm color of the wood to the cold snow. Neat lines and angles throughout. It would take a lot of hot chocolate to warm up in those chairs!! LOL

Snow flurries in GA today... heading your way! Lisa

Oh Tricia - sorry, I am smiling here!! It does look a lovely day - no rain, no wind, just that white soft stuff everywhere you look.

I love it - it looks wonderful - quite exciting to see...
Janice

PS.Yes, you'll get a cold wet seat when you sit on that seat...

PSS.I do like ShellyOB's comments - she has me laughing...

I saw this yesterday but didn't have time to critique....

Nice wide shot, good sharpness and the overall lighting's very good too - obviously the diffused light is from the snow but it looks great..
You may be waiting for summer - but we're certainly not here in the Gulf :(

Cheers
DAvid
