[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A COVE is a circular or oval coastal inlet with a narrow entrance. Colloquially, the term can be used to describe a sheltered bay.

Coves are the results of waves attacking the weakness of rocks, infiltrating them to result in inlets. These further erode to form a circular bay with a narrow entrance called a cove.
There are numerous coves on the coast of Maine and most of them have been formed by erosion of these beautiful colored granite rocks over a period of many years.
These coves are colorfully named like the Smuggler's cove, Peggy's cove, Fisherman's cove. Since the waters are calm they are used safely for various water sports activities, fishing. Very pretty homes are constructed around it utilizing the scenic sea views.
I emphasized the beauty of the rock here and included a small part of the actual cove. Thanks for visiting.
