Nap time at the zoo...
Here we have a small zoo that I took the kids to a few weeks ago. It was a HOT sunny day and it seemed all the animals where sleeping....
Under the tree we saw a group of Kangaroos taking an afternoon nap... the baby looked so cute....

Hello Tricia,

The baby Kangaroo is really cute. The fur of mom and the baby on the luch green grass is looking fantastic. A beautiful closer look in fine details and good luminosity. Well done my friend.

Many thanks for sharing this image.

How adorable!! I wish I could do this! Just plop down whenever and take a snooze! Nice pp work! you are really doing great with that camera!

hi tricia,
they are both very cute :) a fantastic relaxing pose of the baby.i can undderstand that they were sleeping in the shade - yet you've got a very exposure and great sharpness.
well done,
thanks - carole

Hi Tricia,
When I see animals, like these, taking a nap in the shade I feel horrible for all of the dogs that I see, every day, tied on to a tiny piece of chain, in the sun because they have no choice.
It's so good to see animals with at least this "freedom of choice".
Very nice family portrait you present here with very good colors, sharpness and detail.
TFS

Hi Tricia,
A cute shot of these wonderful animals. The contrast of the green grass and the warm brown kangies is very attractive. Well seen and captured, superb presented in the black frame!

What's the old saying? "Got it made in the shade!" The youngster looks like he has napping down to a science! Good sharp image with strong colors. The sunny and shady areas handled well together. Well done.

TFS!

Hi Tricia,
The little one is really past out. The heat really affects animals with all that fur.
Great composition and TFS

Hi Tricia,
At first I thought you'd been traveling "Down Under" to find these kangaroos in such a natural-looking setting. Nice job controling the light so that the sunny areas are not over-exposed, while colors are still good in the shade.
All the best,
Karen
