Hello Tricia, a lovely shot of the mallard,its beautiful colours show so well.I particularly like the reflections of light in the water and the patterns created by the movement of the duck.Lovely sharp shot, and yes the drops complete the picture.

Mallards have that sort of attitude to most visitors! Great friends when bread is on offer! Quick exit without!

You have really captured the action here! The water circles and their reflected light give a great impression of movement! In fact, the light works well on the bird as well, particularly the beak and head!
