I miss these little stores. None of it survived the multi-nationals. I specially miss those wax bottles full of cavity juice.

Hi Luis,
We are now more and more living in a man-made material world and get less and less face to face communications like the one we had in such little grocery stories. I can deeply feel the sad mood conveyed from this picture. Your pp work is excellent and strenthens the sad mood.
Antony

i think the foto has a nice artistic mood, i like the colors and composition, the lady is from a past or future dreaming world.
i like it

I love this shot. It has a lot of mood and emotion in it. The dark lighting and dark colours. So sad small business are not active anymore. I love little corner stores and wish their tradition would continue. Big corporate companies have destroyed everything. Great composition and colours. This image might benefit from a bit of sharpening though. Very well done.
One of my favourites.

This is right out of 'Twin Peaks'.
Dark and sombre mood that ties in with your note. sad.
I would want to go to the Pioneer Store for my groceries and meats - and a chat with the owner too. Extra sad.

The lighting, subject and composition is great on this shot. TFS

Really like this. Colours and composition are good. The overall image quality is not great though. I see the file size is very small. This may explain it. Try saving for the web in photoshop with a file size optmised to 200KB.

Great docu-shot from Smalville, USA. The old lady body-gesture underlines your message. The idea to include the blurred moon is excellent.

I don't like (my taste) the dark halo in the upper part...
I think this portrait is so strong and touching that also without that PP it tals directly to the heart.....
I like it a lot
