[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm posting another chipmunk taken outside in my office last week. You can see by the size of the leaves how tiny these little critters really are. I had quite a bit of low frequency noise that I tried to correct (without losing details) by running thru Neat Image. It was a trade off but I hope you like it.

Enjoy your day !

Hi Julie

A superb shallow dof on the inquisitive looking, profiled chipmunk, with good color, light contrasts & sharpness. I like the reflection in the eye. Tfs!

Wow, Julie! I know you like squirrels, and I do too :)
I like this little Chipmunk, giving a great pose for you :)

The colors are very natural and wonderful sharpness, nice POV and well chosen DOF, make this a great shot.

Well done, my friend.

best regards,
Paras

Hmm... the Neat Image was a little too much. The chipmunk gets stained. You miss a lot of details. What a do like is the composition. Indeed because of the leaves you now see the size of this little chipmunk! Also the colours are good, cold rocks with warm autumn coloured leaves.

Splendid capture with some details and color top. My congratulations.
Have a pleasant day,

Hi Julie,

Very nice profile shot of the cute chipmunk. I think you did a fine job with the Neat Image software. There always seems to be a tradeoff in photography. DOF is superb and I like the catchlight in its eye! TFS

Warm regards,
Werner

Hello Julie,

Hi Julie,
Excellent close-up, would be interested to know what your focal length was here. The sharpness could perhaps be a bit better, and the background grain could do with removing, but your composition and lighting are both great. Good spotting.

TFS,
Scott.

This came out pretty good! I like it, they are hard to capture around here. As cute as they are they can become a pest too. I was at Rice Lake in Canada & they were so tame they would sit in my hand to eat peanuts. I used to feeds the squirrels but now my dog will not let them in his yard! :} Don
