| This is a shot of the Piscataqua Bridge that connects Kittery, Maine to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This bridge spans a deep water river, The Piscataqua River, that accomodates many oil tankers, tall ships and pleasure crafts. The bridge was built extremely tall to allow these tall ships to pass without raising the bridge. The other bridges spanning this river have to be raised to allow passage of tall ships. This water contains many species of salt water fish and crustations. This is a very colorful and enjoyable part of our world. Cropped and softened edges. Reposted, due to my error in the original edge softening.....Oh, Well! |

Excellent composition Jack with beautiful colors and sharpness..Good capture !!
Great perspective Jack, the colors are very clear and the contrast of the clouds and the blue sky is good. It looks like a boat just went by before you took the shot judging by the wake in the left side of the shot.
