This was my first attempt to do a self photo while holding the camera myself. Except for my looks, it worked out fairly well, I think...

Hi Jack, this portait came out well and a nice break from the pups. You look like the kind of person who would look good in black&white using a red filter, so I tried to reproduce this and made a workshop for you

Noting wrong with the looks Jack :) And I agree, it came out well. As Dan sad, i too think this woudl look good in black and white. I decided to do another WS, hope you don't mind. I wanted to bring out your charachter some more.

what a look Jack !
i agree with the comments above... b/w should be great with you... good self portrait anyway

Jack, I like your pose an dthe lighting. Dramatic.

Suggestion: make it even a tighter crop and convert it into black and white. Make it even darker too using curves.

Allo Jack. Nice catch, very nice picture, detail. We can see what you look like.

It is good to see you, Jack! It is difficoult to take self portrait, I agree. I like here the perspective, and that you look away. It is sharp, and nice details ;o)

Your self portrait is wonderful Jack. Very well done considering you were holding the camera. It is nice and sharp.
You are a very handsome man, if you don't mind me saying so.
I tried a workshop for you. I hope you like it.

This is an outstanding image for a handheld self portrait.

I really like the lighting in this and your expression, especially in the eyes, is very effective and to a certain degree cinematic to my eyes.

I would think this is a more difficult shot than most would imagine... how many takes to get this? If it was just one... I'm impressed.

Nicely done.
