self pic.. using auto timer ,
have cropped the whole stuff.
wanted to try the layers and get the color out.

technique is to duplicate the color photograph, convert the duplicate to B&W, and paste it as a new layer on top of the color image. Add an opaque layer mask and then selectively paint transparency into the upper mask, exposing the color photograph underneath.

Haha! Great work, Anil. And very brave, leaving your camera on a tripod in New York City. Very well composed for a self portrait, your position in the frame is great, and the eye is then drawn down the steps and along the street, it works very well.
