A little Artistic license here.... This is a shot I practiced over and over again, looking for the buildings to be sharp and the people to be in motion. This was taken night, in Times Square with my long range lense, because I could not get my Tokina working (aaarrgg~~)....

So yes, there is a tilt, because the straight up and down shot was a little boring. The skyline maybe a tad OE because of all the lights, etc. All tips and tricks and crits are welcome...just be nice and don't call me names or insult my heritage! HAHA!

And have a great day!
Linda

Hi Linda

Good motion blur of the scurrying crowd, with superb color, lighting & sharpness. Tfs!

If somebody calls you names, just shoot them :-).
Excellent result with this experiment.

good experiment with exposure and motion linda :)
if you want to get more "ghostly" movements from the subjects, try exposing the lens to light using the lens cap or a blackcard, this will allow you to get able 2 seconds of exposure for movements.

if u leave the lens expose for 2 seconds straight, you won't be able to see the starting trail...by manually covering the lens then exposing it for able 1/2 a second each time, you should be able to capture a nice trail of ghostly images of people's feet :)

Hy Linda
Welcome back, You must go back to the City again without kids and of course the camera. What a magical City. Like the way you dealt with the ghosts - don't really have a choice - Ahhhhh the colors of the city.

Dan

A good experiment Linda, something my point and shoot wouldn't manage. Good colour, well composed and the images most effective. TFS,
David
