After lunch in Central Park, we had a chance to walk around and enjoy the day. The birds there are so friendly I could almost touch them. This is a common house Sparrow!
I rode my motorcycle 500 miles this weekend and had a great time, even though I'm super tired! Hope you had a nice one!

Now I can say I've seen a part of central park :) A very beautiful picture of this little birdie. He looks like he's trying to figure you out. TFS

Hi Calamity,
Central Park? Y'r kidding! Great shot of this little fellah mr. Sparrow. Good coposition with the little one far from the centre. A fine posting my dear!
Hans

Hi Linda,
Great capture with very nice colors. "Our" birds are nervous which makes it practically impossible to get a good shot even from a far distance unless, of course, one would have a very good zoom unlike myself.
TFS
Regards,
Lurdes

Perfect bird capture Linda,
I love how nothing is obstructing the view of the bird.
Not easy to do! Great job on the placement of the bird in the frame too. Well done!

Hi Linda,
I like the posture... so cute. A lovely blurred cool colored surroundings to make him stand out so well. Nice moment captured, Linda.

Hi Linda
This Big Apple resident appears to have come through the winter in fine shape. You have caught every fine detail of his plump features. If you get a chance you might want to ride up the Hudson Valley it is very scenic even this time of year.

Regards, Tom

Hello Linda,
What a chubby little fella!
He's obviously wearing his duvet under his feathers!
Lovely sharp image and very nicely composed!

kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Linda, elegant composition with lovely bird, wonderful details and excellent sharpness, perfect focus and reat blurry BG, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Linda !
i like the placement of the bird - the composition is very good as a result.
Good narrow focus.

Well done. Best regards, Daniel

Thanks for asking...
This weekend.....
Well I watched the 12 hours of Sebring of the ALMS series.
I watched the Practice & Qualify sessions, plus the Formula One Grand Prix both in French and in English while working on my PC ( LOL !) while it was snowing.......

Next weekend it will be the Malaysian GP. But I will be on duty. So I will need to record everything, and watch it later....

A common bird , but very well captured. Image well composed and I love those tones and narrow depth of field.

Glad you enjoyed your bike ride. It will take afew months before Martine and me will enjoy a ride in the country with one of our cars ..... Too damn difficult these days . And with the snow banks on boath sides, you can't see anything from our cars LOL ! Ever tought to join the Kyle Petty Charity ride (*_^). Martine offered me that ! Imagine I never had abike. We just did scooter rides ! But I like the concept and idea. But the gang is a bit too big in that case....

Cheers!
Robert

Cheers!
