Just an extreme pp, extreme wide angle shot of the downtown streets of New York City. What I liked about this shot was the horse and carraige that ran into the shot, the grains of the street, reflections etc. I clarified this 20 points, that's about it....maybe a little saturation!
I am slowly getting all the pics up on my website, so the kids can see them. I have a wedding to shoot March 30th, so I'm in a pinch for memory card space, so I have to transfer a ton of file! Oh the fun!
Have a great day!
Linda

Très belle prise de vue, sauf que moi j'aurai sumpprimer la plaque d'égout qui est au premier rang, et qui n'apporte pas de couleur à l'ensemble.
Cordialement
Audrey

Hi Linda,

Great shot and the rain has added to the scene with the reflections,
I am really missing my Tokina It's still in hospital.

Hi Linda
The horse and carriage adds charm to this very colorful photo.
Beautifully captured showing us all these lights with reflections on the wet pavement.

Hi Linda
Great "business as usual" urban scene. You're right about the horse and carriage, and it brings an unexpected element in the picture.

Hi Linda,
WOW!! Very nice result. You did it nicely, neat and beautiful. I love this super wide shot at 12mm, Linda. I'd never have an experience using it. :)

Good luck for the upcoming wedding job.

Ramdan.

Great pic, love the wide-angle (just got me a new Sigma 10-20 which I'm dying to try out), and being the 'Big Apple" - well, that sells me anyway.
Nice job
Cheers

Hi Linda,no doubt that its a wet day,I like that black shiny road & wet sidewalks with their captures of reflections.Your POV makes me look left then all the way to the right making sure I take in the whole city scene,it would have been good to have had that carriage in full view, just one more second & it would have been clear of the umbrella, but thats me being a tad picky.TFS

Ron

Hi Linda! I'm sure you loved your first visit there in Time Square. Shall I wait for the naked cowboy in your gallery? :) Love the tone and coloring in this pic.
Cheers!

...I return... :)

Hi Linda,

I was already wondering when seeing the title and looking at hte photo where I had to see the extreme. But you're right, the post processing is spot on! Nice and harsh!
I might have waited two seconds, for the horse and carriage passing the guy with the umbrella in the foreground. 'Horse and carriage...'

Love and marriage, love and marriage
They Go together like a horse and carriage
This I tell you brother
You can't have one without the other

Sinatra off course ;-)
