[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Chrysler Building is one of the most
famous Skyscraper of NYC, and in my opinion
one of the most beautiful.

Although this image does not show well its
famous cupule, I wanted post it because is
not a usual view of the building.
I hope you like it.

Croped a bit and contrast adjusted.

Hello Mario,

This shot shocks the brains perception!
It is not sure what is real and what is reflected!
Good upward pov to emphasises the height and the pattern of the windows.

The only drawback is the lack of sky which removes definition from the top of the building. Pity we can't have weather to order!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

The top of the picture is not "under control" you're loosing the highlights. That bright spot, do also remove some interest, on a shot that had a lot of potentiel. But you're loosing the edges, by overexposing. Few level ajustement would have taken care of the darker area...))) Capture is the first part, you've got to expose the scene right..the second part is post processing...Together they give you the optimum result. Overexposed...post process can repair...but with the right exposure...post process will Optimise and give you a lot more possibilities.

It does look very eye-catching, Mario. And it is interesting to see the flag flying 'all by itself' above the camera!!!
The reflections have come out well - it is a pity about the grey sky - how I hate those skies - so hard to fix!!!
Still, I do like how you have composed this image, and how the mirror image has worked out the reflections.
