Hi George,

I like this "flip side" shot of the falls; a view that's mostly overlooked in lieu of photos of the dramatic falls themselves. The perfect DOF accentuates the mist rising from falls and if we didn't know where this was taken one might assume it's smoke. Thanks for showing us a different view.

another nice vacation shot.. act. im not really fond of view with the high modern builings at the back.. well its just me ok.. hehe.. i prefer old buildings or countryside but still you took a good one.. looks like a lot of birds on the right too.. did you took this in the afternoon, George? the mist formation from waterfall is quite beautiful though.. tfs..

Good sharpness & framing. It appears to have a slight red magenta colour cast, on my monitor. Good pp work to enhamce the shadow details. Tfs!

the steam front in the fall indicates that this very close.

I hope you are still enjoying your holiday.

This is a most unusual shot of Niagara.
I love your pov which makes us feel to be travelling down the river at speed.
The horizontal layer of trees makes an interesting mid-ground with the tall buildings , beyond, as a fine context.
I presume the clouds of rising mist are from the falls!
Against the tall buildings, it gives an idea of the power they creat!
