| It was alternately cloudy and rainy with an occasional moment of the sun peaking through on the day we were at Niagara Falls, New York. When the sun did show its face through the mist everyone around us exclaimed about the fleeting rainbow. In this shot I only got a glimpse of the rainbow because I wanted the focus to be on the falls. This view of the Bridal Veil Falls is taken from the American side looking towards the Observation Tower. Horseshoe Falls is behind us. You can see the Maid of the Mist out in the river at the top of the photo. |
