[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken yesterday at Lake Ontario. These two seagulls were perfectly aligned and I didn't think that opportunity would present itself too many times. I did catch one other photo I'll put in a workshop. Tell me which you like better.

I cropped the photo, increased the saturation, sharpened slightly, used Neat Image to filter out some of the noise and added a clear frame and signature.

I hope you enjoy it. Check out the workshop too.

Hi Linda,
Well you've given us a tuff choice here as both shots are equally nice:) I do like the WS version as there's a bit more seperation, the eye of the gull in behind is clearly visible, but feel I'd liked to have had the feet visible. This shot, it's always nice to see a closeup. The colors and light are warm and VERY nice. I guess to sum it all up...you presented not 1 but 2 very very nice gull shots. TFS Linda.

Hi Linda, great shot of the feathered friends! The shot you chose was excellent, the other one was weaker, it didn't have the strength that this one did. TFS.

I like the image in the workshop because I can see the eye of the other friend:)
In any case, an outstanding capture with superb sharpness and details, and the water as dof works great!

Great capture - nice crop and sharpness. I really liked the workshop version too - I think it was more clear and complete.. I liked the symmetrical appeal to it and I found it less visually confusing. But the position of the far seagul gives this photo a unique perspective which I like also. Both shots are really impressive.

Hi Linda,
E X C E L L E N T !! Love the way u composed it. Beautiful soft colour and details. A very nice DOF and good focus on the subject. I think you made the right choice Linda, this is the best shot of the two.

Hello Linda,
This is a well timed capture with very good exposure and composition. I think that I like the close crop better. The only thing I noticed though is a little lack on details. Maybe that a smaller aperture ( F7.1) for instance could have bring out a little more details. This is a good capture anyway with nice lightning. Thanks!
