While at Ontario Beach State Park this past weekend, I noticed these picnic tables stored for the winter. They seemed to stand at attention. They will soon be dispersed along the park grounds for the spring and summer picnickers and sunbathers. One of the picnic pavillions and Lake Ontario, one of five fresh-water Great Lakes are in the background. The lake often reminds residents of the ocean because it is so large you cannot see across it in most places.

I cropped the photo, increased the saturation to bring out the blue sky more and cloned out a couple lampposts that were distracting and added a signature.

Hi Linda! Really great idea for a shot here and lovely background scenery for the leaning benches. Unfortunately, I think that the surroundings actually distract from the funny positioning of the benches, so I would recommend maybe using a much closer point of view and letting the angled benches fill up the space of the photo. Really good to keep the framing horizontal, to balance with the vertical angle of the tables. Try using a smaller aperture (a higher f-stop) and a slightly slower shutter speed to get more detail and form in your shot too (I would know I have a tendency to leave my aperture wide open and use a faster shutter speed and then I don't get the sharp, focused look that I originally wanted ;P). Really great concept and good results though, TFS!
