| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another first attempt for me.
This is a Mexican ceramic wall hanging that a friend brought us back from a cruise a few years ago.
I photographed it on our brick wall, then put it on a black background. I resized the photo for TL and increased saturation and sharpened just a bit.
I then made a copy of the photo in another layer.
On the original layer, I added a frame, then working on the copy layer, I erased everything around the frame so just some of the points were outside the frame. I merged the layers and added a signature.
I have another version where the points of the star are blurred which I will post to the workshop. Please tell me what you think and which you like better.
It was a lot of work but very satisfying when I saw the finished result. I hope you enjoy it. |
