He's Going Fishing AGAIN!

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Yesterday morning at the Pier on the Genesee River near Lake Ontario, we found two giant moorings that sparrows have made into bird houses. They each housed 50 or more birds. This fishing lure had been attached to one of them and the one bird seemed attracted to it while the one in the background seemed disinterested.
A workshop shows the actual moorings with the red and white lighthouse in the distance at the end of a long pier people walk daily. The lighthouse stands about 50 feet tall which gives you an idea of the distance away. A very pleasant walk. Boats go in and out daily. The brown water is the river with the blue of the lake in the distance.
Cropped, sharpened. I apologize it's not sharp and clear as I like normally. I'm using a backup camera not my regular one which is being repaired and I'm not used to the settings yet.
I appreciate any and all feedback. |

Hi Linda. Good composition, just a pity that it is not quite sharp due to the cropping therefore loosing resolution. Those moorings look very promising with all the birds on them. Is there any way you could zoom and focus tighter on the birds? That would make dynamic pictures. I like your caption as well. Cheers, Irmgard

Hi Linda,
A wonderful catch! Glad this one didn't get away! OK, I'm done with the puns . . .
These birds seem to be gymnasts and you caught them in an interesting pose. The dry wood is tending to overexpose the shot, but I'm no expert on metering.
Take care,
Karen
