During a walk, I noticed this cluster of lilacs dangling amidst a huge thorn bush. I thought it was a great contrast. Even though at first glance the lilac may appear to be more beautiful, the thorn in its own way is also beautiful.
Is the jay more precious than the lark because his feathers are more beautiful? Or is the adder better than the eel because his painted skin contents the eye?
- William Shakespeare
When I first took this photo yesterday, it did not come out well at all, so I went back today to get another chance. I cropped the photo, increased the saturation 20%, cloned out some distracting ground cover, ran it through Neat Image to remove some of the noise and pasted it back into the original photo to retain the photo information. I then sharpened it a little bit and added a signature.
I hope you enjoy my discovery. |

Hi Linda,
beautiful contrast and light. I like the right down corner. Gives space to admire the beauty of that liliac. Nicely seen!
Kindly regards,
