I really like this alot Daniel! Unfortunately when I was there in March, I was with a group and could not venture far from it! This is extra nice, love the deep blue water here, excellent details and I love the reflection on the water under the boat!

I can see why you couldn't resist:) The white triangular shape of the sail makes for a refreshing feature against the blockish buildings in the background. Good composition and rich colors. I also like how the shadows play on the architecture with the angle of the light. Well done:)

a fairly classical composition, seems to me there, but very effective.
I love the multiple reflections on the water. more, the relationship between the three parts of the picture: the sky, the buldings and water.

It is very interesting to see this sailboat against the big buildings. I like the contrast between the small and the large!
Excellent capture of light on the facades and the Hudson River.

Less trafic on the river than in town for sure. Great composition , with the sailboat well placed and room ahead of it. Interesting backdrop with these buildings. They must have a great view of the Big apple....

Interesting cubism effect with the sun setting.

Hi Dan,
Bonnie in the "Big Apple" I see this was taken in Oct. a good choice because summer in NYC can be oppresively hot.
Wonderful clarity with exceptioanl colors and details to this fine vertical view of the beautiful river.

Hi Dan,

This one is even more attractive then the Chrysler building, probably because the inclusion of water and a boat - I just love views like this one - good height in this picture.
