Hi Ed,
Nice shot. I think your shutterspeed was just right. I like how there's just a tad bit of movement. It's because I have a shot kind of like this one, but with a lightrail train moving across. I had the shutter open much longer than you (2 or 3 seconds), and the train just became a big blur--a big wall of light. With this one, I like that the form of the bus isn't totally gone, that there's the front end still visible. (Well...it's how I like it, anyhow. Stay tuned, someone else may come and tell you different). ;P The light of this early evening catch looks good, too. I like it how you can still see the walls of the buildings, and its detail, but, still be able to catch the lights on inside. Good timing!
Take care.
Richard

Hello,
I see you like night shots. I like night photography too. I must admit that your pictures indicate of your experience on night shooting. Great colours and very well balanced among the dark and light spots. Althoug it is dark, they look so natural and vivid.
Excellent job!
These faces of Philly continue to be interesting -- I've been there, but it's been years, so it's nice to see again. What's fun about this picture -- and effective -- is the way you have the blur of the speeding train set against the static skyline. I think it makes both more interesting. Good work!
