The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts The Kimmel Center, a new complex on the Avenue of the Arts in Center City Philadelphia, incorporates public amenities and two major venues: Verizon Hall, a 2,500-seat concert hall built specifically as the new home of The Philadelphia Orchestra; and Perelman Theater, a 650-seat recital theater that can adapt to a variety of presentations.
