Took this today the 13th at a local park. I held the leaf with my left hand and took the shot with my right, behind are thousands of leaves of the same color.

Nice capture for a one-handed shot, Dennis. A blurry background is always nice, but one made up of the same material works even better. TFS.

Nice shot. Fall's definitely in your neck of the woods. The leaf looks good with that background, goes to show just how far into the season it is.

Hi Dennis. I love leaves, and I like this shot in its simplicity. It's like snowflakes - no two leaves are exactly alike. The analogy eventually brings me around to people. :)

Oh yes, we do need this kind of archetypal autumn shot to be reminded of the season. It actually works except for the shadow in the lower right hand corner which I personally would have avoided.
