| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The photo was taken by my friend, Neil, who scanned it from the original negative, converted it to b&w positive, and forwarded it to me with permission to WS it for posting to TL. I copied his original image to PS, adjusted for levels and contrast, resized, copied to PhotoFiltre, framed and titled, copied to PS, resized and optimized for web. Part of this exercise was to convince Neil, who is a very accomplished photographer (former pro), to join TL by submitting his image for your critiques and comments. The other part was for me to interpret the original image, and to create a matte/border and text that would enhance its strong graphic quality. Your critiques and/or comments will be forwarded by me to Neil. |

Nice pov. I really like the idea of turning this picture to B&W. I would frame that picture on my wall. I really like it because it really focus on real life. A moment captured that happens everyday.
Great shot! Great idea and thank you for sharing.
Welcome to TL Peter! and thanks for the nice note. LOVE this pic, VERY nice work, BW is super for this type of shot, love the framing here too! You will do well here! Just write and talk, you will learn more here than in any college anywhere! We have quite a network all over the world and we even travel to see each other! Keep up the good work!
