[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I dipped back into my G-20 Summit photo files for this one. On the second day of the Summit, a group of 15 Burmese Buddhist monks stage a "mass meditation for peace" at a park near the University of Pittsburgh. About 200 others joined the monks while they sat cross-legged in perfect rows and silently meditated. After a while, the monks quietly got up and began filing away to be transported to their next protest site. A few photographers were able to persuade some of the monks to pause for photos.

This is funny Sandy. Sort of like photographing the photographer. I know of a bunch of websites specializing in this genre. Your tech settings appear optimum. I am also fascinated by Buddhism and its way of life. Regards.

Hi Sandy

Good sharpness, color & positioning of the red robed Burmese monks. Yes, what has happened in Burma (Myanmar) since 1990, is a blatant travesty of justice. The military junta are arrogant, brutal & corrupt. Makes you appreciate living in a democracy like the US or Australia.

Hi Sandy,
Very interesting daily life shot.Good moment.TFS.
Cheers,

Hi Sandy,
this is a very special shot. The action is so wonderfully captured with the colour contrast so well seen. The robe of the monk is so well noted and the blue bag is very striking. a nicely composed shot.

regards,
Foozi
