You are very right, indeed, she is full of expressions, Julie!
Very well detailed shot with great sharpness and a pleasing POV. The way she is looking into the camera, is just nice and bringing charm into the composition! However, the blue color brings nice contrast into the capture.

Hi, Julie -
I don't post many portraits, either, so I'm not qualified to give you advice, but I really like this image. You managed the bright sunlight well, and the colors are excellent - the light blue shirt with her eyes and hair are a great combination. Charming subject with a delightful expression. The image is nicely cropped and intimately close with nice sharpness. If there is one thing I might do it would possibly be to try to remove that stray strand of hair from across her eye, although it's very inconsequential. Nice work!

Very nice tight crop Julie! I like the natural expression! Her tan skin and blue shirt go well together! I'm kinda mixed on the fingers, maybe even tighter would work, maybe a vignetting, to minimize the fingers and add focus to the face would work nice!

I think, both of versions are good. But you should have not cropped her fingers because they are important parts of body language

Hi Julie,

What a cute expression! I like the original over the softened version. Just personal preference I guess, but I like the natural look more. I think it would be better to crop her fingers though.

Nice job with the close crop and I like the way you've used the natural lighting.
