Hi Julie,

Simple sunflower?...hmmmm...I think it looks so adorable and special!
Great colors, wonderful sharpness, nice POV and well controlled shallow DOF, collectively give here great results. The yellow color emerges as a winner and the green-colored central part of the sunflower is very complementary to the sorrounding green leaves. Blue sky adds another feather to your crown. The presence of bee, gives 'youth' status to this lovely flower :)

what I liked about this photo is the pov here. the details and sharpness are also good here. natural colors and good use of the exposure here also. also tha addition of the bug adds dimension to this photo.
