Hello, Julie -
Great shot - you must have gotten pretty close to this fellow. What I like most is the sunny backlighting behind his fuzzy ears. Sharp details of the head, especially the eye. Good timing to catch this one.

Hi Julie

I saw squirrels in Denver Parks but they all ran away from me. Do you need to bribe them with cookies or something? In Australia, I've used bread with honey for the nocturnal possums. Just a wee bit of oe in the highlights, otherwise all is perfect. Tfs!

Hi Julie,

I agree with you that they're entertaining and I don't mind losing a little bird food in the process either. Actually, with our squirrel-proof feeder, they have to settle for what the birds spill onto the ground. Very colorful and sharp photo, and the tiny bit of OE in the hair can be easily corrected. TFS
