[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the last picture in my series of in memorium for Uncle Butch. This is the vermont honor guard who trudged out into the snow and waited patiently to give the last honors to one of their own. I have been very touched by the outpouring of sentiment and really appreciate the condolences and love that I have felt. this picture is unmodified except for a slight sharpening and a border. I know that this is a somewhat charged subject with people expiriencing suffering and loss on both sides of the conflict. I hope that the pictures can stand on their own based on the quality of the material and composition. I was a little limited. I asked my Aunt early on if she would mind me taking some pictures. She said ok but I still didn't want to intrude on their personal suffering so I kept my camera in my trench coat and snaped the shots with out most of the people knowing. I wish I had the fore thought to turn off the stinking sounds. I would have taken more shots. I have one of the flag being handed to my Aunt but will not post it as it is very personal. I know all my friends here would respect it though. This has rambled a bit but in the end thankyou for you support for me and those that serve. I hope you enjoyed the images as I was very proud of taking them with my limited abilities as a photographer. cheers
Eric

Hi Eric
Another good shot from you.
Their uniform really stands out in all that snow.

My sympatie

It´s a great respect capture.

The composition is really great. Just in movies and this photos make remember life.

my regards

Excellent capture with good composition, metering, and such a strong contrast between the uniformed soldiers and their naturally-desaturted surroundings.
