This is an attractive vista and what a good way to while away summer. The positioning of the lighthouse is ideal, choice of 1/1600 seconds while on a boat resulted in a sharp photo. Greetings from Wash D.C. Danilo

I love the glowing water here Dot! This works well in BW! Excellent reflective light. just a TAD tilted on the horizon, but I forgive it! The glow of the light is very nice!

Comme j'aime ton choix de faire cette photo en noir et blanc. Cela lui donne une ambiance un peu rétro qui a beaucoup de charme! Excellente composition, la jetée formant une belle perspective! Si je peux me permettre, compte tenu du ciel nuageux, je pense qu'en diminuant un peu la luminosité et en accentuant le contraste, l'effet pourrait encore plus intéressant! Bravo et merci du partage! Hi Dot, good this, very nice....excellent composition. The contrast on this is super, got lots of detail and definition. The clouds look menacing. I like the soft glow from the lighthouse.

Those hot and humid summer days have yet to come here. It's wet and cold.
Indeed being on the water really is wonderful and seeing a lighthouse on the way makes it even better.

One of my favorite subjects Dot. I love lighthouses. I find them romantic and beautiful. They are like solders of the water ways, guarding us thru the danger. I particularly like the B&W here with the composition perfect. A wonderful capture of all the great elements. Bravo

Très jolie scène maritime. La composition est bien équilibré, la netteté et l'exposition sont bonne. Bref une belle réussite. Il se peut que ce soit la différence de calibration entre nos moniteur, mais je la trouve douce du point de vue contrast (sur mon moniteur). J'ai essayé un workshop, est-il mieux? est-il pir? N'en demeure pas moins que l'image que tu nous présente est une belle réussite. TFS.
