Not sure why someone holding a sign in the U.S. saying "Stop the Abuse of Children" deserves the title of "courage". Surely that is a sentiment with which no-one would disagree - so nothing courageous about it.

Perhaps there is something specific about this case - and therefore a photographer's note would be useful, as requested in the site guidelines.

The photo itself is nothing special - the main subject far to central.
