Yes, this is down town Stowe, Vermont. This is the horse who had the little boys attention and the one in my holiday greetings. There were 3 of them coming down main street with the leader going to the bank! Guess it happens often here..:)
Must say when I owned my horse I would occassionally go down the street if I needed to reach a trail or a dirt road but never elected to purposely go into that kind of traffic..well except for the few times I led the parades...:o)
The horses were all well used to the cars an LOTS of onlookers gawking! They were very big horses, all draft crosses. This one most definalty a Clyesdale cross. Beautiful horses..I know there is alot of fuss in the background but thats more or less why I posted it to show what was happening around them.
Thanks for viewing my gallery and for commenting on my photos.

I did clone out a street sign that appeared to be sticking out of the riders head and a couple other really distracting annoyances..:o)

Hey, Donna,
this looks quite exciting - to have a horse and go for a walk, just like that :)
Wonderful photo, I like how the sun shines on the horse. I love your note as well.
Regards, Evgenia

Hi Donna,

Nicely captured and well done on the catch of the expression.
Hard roads, hard on the horse's legs.

Hi Donna...
Amazing.. and without the note i just figured this guy was a police officer!! Then I looked back at the photo and he's NOT!! :)

Great capture... The lady in the silver tuck does not look happy she has to wait for the horse to cross the street!!

Klipperdiklipperdeklop.....where is Santa Clause horse. Oh I see in Vermont captured by my dear Donna! Well seen. It tells a story and thats what I like except from the fact thats ist is a excellent picture. TFS.
