My daughter hauling hay to the pasture for the horses shes about to turn out from the barn. Underneath her feet is 3' of snow, 2 more is falling over her head. Its hard work caring for animals in the winter, we both know as we've had horses since she was 5 years old.

Thanks for viewing my gallery and for your comments on my photos.

Hello Donna!

In Vermont and New England they had more snow than us this year! The lucky guys!

This superb photo reminds me an artist that Martine and me appreciate very much. In fact , we have nearly 30 of his images framed on our walls at home . He likes to paint rural scenes. And he does it very well.

His name is Robert Duncan.

Hello Donna,
Wow! This is what I call real winter!
And frankly I'm happy it is over for this time...
Good atmosphere is captured, well composed presentation!
Greetings,
Pablo -

I like the mood of this snowy shot. Nice compo. Well done, best regards,
Vandana

Hi Donna,
A very wonderful winter scenery. I really like the rural feel to it. A perfect composition where the track from the sleigh lead the eye into the photo. Considering the harsh weather conditions you managed to get great clarity and color.

Hi Donna,
looks like there was plenty of snow, I hope you had time to get some skiing in, Vermont has a few good hills.
Very nice winter scene, the red barn is a lovely contrast to the snowy landscape.

Hi Donna,

A nice shot depicting the realities surrounding the romantic notion of owning horses! A friend of mine has horses, and I've enjoyed helping her care for them in the past, but my youngest girls are now pressuring us for horses, so I've arranged to let them help my friend regularly as well. It is nice having those peaceful animals in your life, though.
Nice composition and color; I also like the varying sizes of the flakes.
All the best,
Karen

That must be a tough job! The snow looks beautiful. Pretty picture. I like your frame.TFS
