Okay, Okay I know its spring and I'm still posting winter photos..:o) Thing is when I was in Vermont ( my homeland where I lived 47 of my years, hmmmm I just dated me...:o) Anyhow I was there visiting my children for a week and everyday it snowed! My daughter lives in Stowe which I think is snow capital of the state with Mt. Mansfield being there the tallest mountain in Vermont. Anyhow the fresh snow was so pretty that I had to take some photos, most of which were out of a moving car... After we returned home I didnt' have much time to post photos ( which I haven't had much all winter actually since my Husband has been home all winter since his ship was in layup til spring.) Course we all know its spring now so , yep hes back to work again. Tricia knows how I feel as her husband is a sailor too. ...I think I'm writing a novel here...Anyhow heres my photo I promise I'm almost to the end of my winter shots...:o) The sun is shinning here in Southern Ontario so wont' be long before I'll be out taking walks along our lakeshore and mowing my lawn!
Have a great day and sorry for my long winded note! :o)

despite the gloom and the chill it brings, winter is my favourite season. then when its composed as wonderfully as you have done it, it really becomes special. I like that trail leading into the woods, the snow cover, those bare trees and the magical fairy tale ambience. All gel well together.

The long winded note was a fun read Donna:)
The photo is a pleasure to view. Lovely snow scene, very nice compo with the road leading deep into the photo, and the snow covered trees on both sides. Very good exposure, focus and POV. My only quibble is the border color, but then that's matter of taste I suppose. TFS Donna
