Events upcoming to this photo:
A party held at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont by the company my daughter works for. The day was on an off stormy and when the sun came out a rainbow appeared. Oh for a wide angle lens .....as I could see both sides. I couldn't help but click my camera away at this sweet moment shared between a couple of my daughters friends.

PP work, lightened up the photo a bit and increased the saturation, removed the noise and sharpened it up..added a border..oh and removed a badmitton net...:o)

I like this one. Couple admiring a beautiful rainbow. Nice colours. The only thing I don't like is the big shadow on the left. Nice anyway.

Hi Donna...Rainbow pictures are always pretty neat but this is the first I've seen on here where one has been used to frame people in the shot like this.

Wonderful photo Donna! As Kilted says, it's all the more special because not only is it among a beautiful environment, but it frames the couple in the foreground.

I like the rich, bright colors of the rainbow, and the trees that are lit by the sun. Also, the distant hills provide a nice bit of framing. The low cloud cover really makes the rainbow stand out - looks like it's a double rainbow too!

Well done!

BTW, failing a wide angle lens, you can always take two or three photos and stitch them together later in pp. See my cruise ship photo here.

Who ordered the rainbow just in time for this moment? It doesn't get any better than this. Nicely captured and presented.
