[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rincon, on the west coast of Puerto Rico, is a surfer's challenge. High above the waves is a garden which, surrounding a lighthouse, is well maintained and full of flowers...such as hibiscus. This is one of them.

Olá, Michael!

Great focus, lovely details and wonderful BG.
Beautiful work. Congratulations and TFS, mate!

Greetings from Brazil,
Bruno

Hi Michael,

This is an unusual macro of a hibiscus plant. Most folks shoot down into the flower, but I think this is the first I've seen from the side. I like the DOF here, with the stamen very sharp, but the background not too blurred. The beach and waves make for a nice backdrop.

TFS,
Werner

Hi Michael,
A very good chosen depth of focus !
I like the color of the flower very much. There is a lot of noise in the background, but the colors are good.
TFS.
Joop!
