[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This beautiful, deserted beach at sunset provided a photo that was too hard to pass up. I spent several hours at this location up and down the beach, and throughout the few hours I was there I only saw three people walking on the beach. The tide in late afternoon washed away all tracks of human or animal life and smoothed the sand to almost flawless perfection. It was well worth the wait to capture this very moody and wonderful sunset on the island of St. Croix, the easternmost part of the United States. Througout the nine days I spent on vacation around St. Croix I was surprised at the lack of tourist invasion. It is such a beautiful spot to visit. Maybe April was the wrong time of year, but the best time for me.

Just a small bit of color saturation in Photoshop to enhance the texture of the clouds. Maybe 2 points of color enhancement from blue to green. Almost too little to detect in this photo.

Beautiful scene and shot. Lovely colors and ambiance. Fine composition, well seen and capture. Slightly tilted to the right. The light tower should be perfectly straight just a few degree CCW. Minor tho..Good work.

A fantastic cloud formation with nice vivid colors.
Beautiful lighting, especially on the lighthouse.
A wonderful agitated sea with nice lighted waves!
Very warm colors contrasted well with the blue green of the sea.
