A photo of my brother taking a photo of something at El Moro (the fort) in Old San Juan. A few minutes earlier it was raining but in this shot, it is nice and sunny.

Suggestions welcome.

The original was underexposed so I adjusted levels and saturation.

Good sharpness and colours.
After a shower the air can be quite clear most of the time.
I like the great sky in the back.
Just a note: I think the horizon is a little tilted.
Still a great shot.
Groet,
Joop.

I like the color & interesting lines & curves & shapes and the composition in the picture . I would think if his arm didn't cover his face it would be better. Nice shot.

Hi JP,

It's a nice picture. The sky is beautiful and strangely enough tilted horizon doesn't bother me, perhaps because some of the walls have slopes, so the picture looks balanced in a "tilted way" :), but I am not sure about white top of the tower. It seems to be unnaturally too bright, and you've lost some details there.

Katya

So sharpen and nice shot. Very balanced composition..
Great! :)

Great sky JP! You didn't use your 12-24 lens?
That would a pretty nice scenery with it too. TFS

Hi JP

A superbly polarized blue sky, with marvellous sharpness & contrast. Well done!

This is a wonderful photo, JP!
The horizon is tilted, yes...but when you take a closer look, it actually looks symmetrical with the left side of the picture.
What I absolutely love about this shot is the depth that the lines of the clouds give to the picture. Of course, the colours are lovely, seems like you did a good job with the levels!
M:)

Hi Jean Pierre, nice capture of your brother ... Great colours and wonderful sky. Nino

Hmmm...horizon leaning to the left but if you correct this then tower would lean too much on the right :)) Anyway, this not distract at all...surprise to me :))) Good shot JP! :))

Hi JP,
Great picture and light... A beautiful moment you've known shooting... Great post processing with adjust levels and sharpen (I think you've done it ?...). Thanks for sharing !
Laurent.

Very crispy almost unreal photo. I like the way you used the area.
Nice in all aspects

Beautiful angle man it's really good shot

I like the sharp lines and contrasts here. I've tried a workshop to straighten the horizon to see what difference it makes. Nice photo.

I am going through people's galleries to catch-up on what I have missed while away on vacation. This one attracted me because it has almost a surreal feel to it. I don't know if it is because of the clouds which seems to be moving fast or the very bright & saturated colours but it almost looks like a dream. Well done!

Unfortunatly, I have run out of goodies trying to catch-up with everyone...sorry!

Nice view and very well composed shot. Wonderful blues and a nice place to be, it seems... Minor points have already been taken, I see ;)

Very well done JP

Take care, Stef :))

A bit of a surreal looking place - crisp and sharp shot - good composition and your brother with the red t-shirt sure adds to the composition. Nicely done JP ..
