Two Bees, or Not Two Bees: that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler to land on this flower
and suffer the the stings of outrageous fortune,
or to take flight to yonder tender blossom,
and by not opposing, end this sea of troubles.

To land? Perchance the nectar sip!
Aye, there's the rub.............

(With deepest apologies to William Shakespeare (1564-1616, "To Be or Not To Be")

Tech:
1. Cropped
2. Exposure and Contrast Adjustment
3. Noise Removal
4. I tried to remove the annoying dead leaf between the two bees and never could get it right. WS anyone to show me how to do it so it doesn't look like it's been removed??????
5. Sharpened.
6. Resized
7. Applied simple frame and logo
8. Painted canvas and locked photo to create matte.
9. Added yellow lines to frame.

Hi Kathleen

A superb macro shot of the flower, with the added bonus of the bees. I love the title! Good sharpness & graphism. Congratulations!

Hi Kathleen. Two bees or not to be so lucky to be able to get such a lovely shot. Bees tend to fly away just as you are ready to release the shutter, but in your case...
Congratulations
Arturo

Yes, I can only agree, this is a great macro, I have never seen it like that before...
Very original work... great contrast and colours...
...and a great note!
Frank

Great close up of these bees. I did a workshop for you to remove the dead leaf.

John

I like the motion in the bee trying to land - it adds real life to the picture. Nicely framed too.

Great macro work Kat, nice to see the Oly at work.

Peter

Hi Kathleen,
Fantastic macro. Very good composition. Great colors, light and details. Well done
Regards, António

I love the colors and the contrast, the combination of macro and action. A very colorful and interesting projection. You are always looking for the perfect opt and most often you find it right at your fingertips.

greetings from KIM-Land

BINGO! This is an awesome catch Kathleen... :D Ha.. ha... The note made me laugh out at a particular point... :D... LOL! Beautiful colors and an amazing macro... I love the PP U did on it... :D Good composition :D.... I hope it could be sharper though... :D... Nice presentation :D Thanks for sharing... :)

Take care...
- Hima.

* I wonder where U found 'a Couple' ... I always find 'a Single'... might be because I am single... ha ha ... LOL!

* Kathleen I forgot to mention... Be careful with Ur borders... I find that the thin outer border is not straight and has bit of cut-outs. * :D.

* Am out of Smileys... will be back :D *

The world looks even more different seen through a macro-lens. Colors look big, the little insects look like giant stumblers. It's so nice to observe those little guys. In your photo I can almost hear the buzzz, I can see the extreme lit colors of yet another place where they can eat, and almost smell the nectar warmed by the sun. Good catch of what they "are", taking care of their daily buzzznezzzz..
See you again Kat, I'm glad to hear things are improving, Richard

Another great macro shot. I suppose the camera has to be very fast to capture the wings... I am curious whether it can be done.
