| Mom Robin decided to build her nest on my step ladder on my patio. Somehow this little fellow was the only one who survived. Although we kept a close watch on them it seems a black snake found the nest and swallowed the others. |

Ohhhhh He is so helpless and all alone. And yet he remains a strong survivor! This poignant portrait aptly demonstrates the fragility and uncertainty of our own existence as well as the trials of our friends in the wild....A wonderful entry. This photo speaks volumns!

Once again John, the only thing left to say is WoW!! Great capture, For any creature that's bigger, the bird looks helpless... I'm sure to the bugs it gobbles, it looks like T. Rex! This great little shot has helped me put my morning into perspective.
