Good placement of the flower off center. Wonderful color, sharpness and dof. The reddish pink & green colors make a perfect ensemble (and an appropriate upload for Valentines day!) Tfs!

What a splendid light you captured on this rose!
This variety looks like the wild perenial kind called "rugosa" in my country. It resists valiantly at the rigours of our winter. This is a good symbol for this Valentine Day! :)

what incredible color. Perfectly saturated, wonderful light and contrast and the dark green BG is beautifully blurred. That rose seems to have a light of its own. Beautiful! Many thanks and hope you had a lovely day. I've been enjoying my chocolates..:))) Maybe TOO much..LOL Take good care,

Hello Linda,

Thank you for this. It is a beautiful rose and much appreciated as a gesture of frienship.

I'm sorry I missed it yesterday but thankfully, it has lost none of its bloom in the intervening day.

The rose is pin sharp, has lovely colour and textural details and is nicely isolated from the b/g by the good dof.
