Quapaw Baths - Hot Springs National Park
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is yet another shot of some architecture in the Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I shot this about 8pm on a late October night, not quite Halloween, but it looks like it should have been. Not only is it a little spooky, but it has a nice pumpkin shade, too! It has this coloration because I used all available lighting, which consisted of car headlights going down Central Ave. while the shutter was open for 10 seconds. I could have converted it to a B&W, but I have a couple of those, in fact two days ago I posted the Superior Baths. I posted a workshop with some detail of the Quapaw Baths - it will be a b&w conversion.
Shot with my good ol' Olympus 8080wz balanced on a cheap aluminum tripod. |

Hi Reed
WOnderful nocturnal shot.
A gold light so beautiful. Excellent bg and frame well seen, well done.
I like the pov and the perspective of this architecture.
A fantastic work.
My compliments
Have a great week end
Best regards
Is that a UFO hovering about the baths? Scary! I would have been tempted to do a tungsten on this, maybe to kill some of the orangy light. Just a preference of mine! Nice sharpness, I want to go here someday! I need a could of days in a hot spring!
B-)
