This is an HDR shot of the light coming through the trees one late afternoon in Arkansas. I love what HDR does for a photo. I processed from a single RAW image, three different TIFF exposures, then merge in my Corel ProX2 HDR program. Hope you have a great Sunday!
We got full sun, hot temps and all chores done! It's a day of rest and relaxation!

Morning, Linda....
sounds like you have a nice day in store for you. I am quite envious of you who can do those HDR shots and make them look realistic. I like the light coming through at an angle there and the fall leaves on the ground. It has a kind of melancholy feel to it and the road leads in wonderfully and is very nicely off centered. I think it will be a shock how quickly fall arrives again. Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy your day off... May thanks and warmest regards,
Shelly

A day of rest for the Warrior??? No way... I give you an hour or two to think of something. This looks just like the weather in GA today and really all last week. The greens are green from the rain and dappled sunlight. Linda, I like how the coloring changes as we look down the path to the bend in the road. Nice path leading us to look further into the photo. We all want to know where the road will take us! :) Lisa

hi linda, again your hdr work is wonderful, great colors and composition too, very nice, i do wish there was more in focus as it looks like only f5 however each and everyone's opinion on that may vary, still very pretty,
enjoy your sunday-its a holiday weekend here!
thanks, scott

Hi Linda,
I like the shallow DOF here which is something you would normally not expect for a lanscape shot like this.
The fall colors are most wonderful and I am looking forward to that season again.

Hi Linda,

A Nice HDR. nice capture of the lights coming behind from trees. also nice DOF here.

Kind Regards,
Sanjib

And I wonder what's down that road, nice subtle use of HDR. Love the colour of the leaves.

We have winter here but a nice sunny day.

Ralph

Hi Linda,

Nice natural HDR, I like the way you have concentrated the focus on the foreground, the out of focus background kind of draws you in.

Hi Linda,
I really like the use of the shallow DOF here, looks great in this situation. The HDR process has really brought this scene to life it seems, the colours and lighting are very good. Nice idea with the faint vignetting too. Well processed.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Linda,
Do do seem to have gotten the HDR process down really well and used it to great effect here. The foreground leaves are almost touchable.
I like the scene and composition very much, and the dof works pretty well, although, for me, I think it would have been really killer if the sunlit parts were also a bit more included in the sharp region, but that's just my observation.
Thanks,
Wilt

This grabbed me the other day when I was looking at your pics, and I just had to come back and comment / critique it.
I love how the orange light is showing through the trees, and giving an unusual tinge to the ground. A real Autumn scene - I like it, - the composition, the soft BG and most of all the colours.
BRAVO!
Janice
