[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Relay for Life is an 18-24 hour event designed to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. It celebrates survivors as well as honoring those who have lost the battle, combining both fun and great solumnity. This moment is one of the first. The dance line from the local senior center was performing on stage as this member of the audience got up to encourage all of us to dance along with them. Yes, hands up! Your money or your money... It's for a good cause.

Exposure Mode Auto; Exposure Program Creative; ISO 400 RAW; Focal Length 53 mm; Focal Length in 35mm film 79 mm; Photoshop curves adjusted, distracting background cloned out, cropped, framed.

Please visit the newcomers and give critiques and points to them. I've learned so much here from my friends and want to pass that along to others...

Very nicely done, Lois. I think I like both and maybe you could have done a montage of the two as they seem to be a good complement for each other. Both are fun pictures showing well the spirit of the event. Good journalistic shot. Well done!

haha i love this shot! the man seems very humorous and enthusiastic. this is what makes this shot a great shot. the man has been captured well and i think you did a great job timing the shot. I also love the women in the background. it works perfectly! :)

Hi Lois- this is really a great shot- perfect sharpness and rich colors and I like the main focus on the gentleman, but still letting us see the dance troupe in the background- very good accompanying note! TFS!

Best wishes
Steve

Hi Lois, I really like this one, it's dynamic, great colors. It feels good to see these people in action.
