It rained and rained and rained some more (it's raining again today), but the sun came out for two glorious days, and I took my "walking around" camera and went for walks to Bellevue State Park and the Bellevue Estate Pond where I found very wet fall color, which needed no Photoshopping. Which are real leaves and which is reflection?
If you'd like another view of the Bellevue Pond, look here. |

Nice. Poignant, simple observation of beauty in an unexpected place.
The combination of submerged leaves and reflection of a broken sky is very nice.

This is a very interesting picture.I especially enjoy the bottom part where we can see the leaves under the water walking down or should I say swimming down towards the sky.The colors are beautiful.I find this picture as a piece of visual poetry.TFS
Nice fall colors and interesting composition. The narrow depth of field makes the leaves under the water a little softer than the sharp details at the top of the frame. A nice seasonal photo. TFS
Lovely POV and capture of this beautiful scene. I love the colour and depth created by the reflections and the sunken leaves, giving the whole image a 3D like look. Well done!
regards,
Dilshan
Hello Lois,
A lovely effect created by the myriad of colours in the partially submerged autumn leaves.
I might have been tempted to crop from the top so that the diagonal of colour is more pronounced and contrasts more succinctly with the reflected sky.
Well sen!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Hello Lois,a good question, which are real and which are reflection? It is quite hard to tell.
I like the colours and the composition.
Tfs, regards Jean.
