[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken at the Lincoln Memorial looking out at the Washinton Monument and the US Capital building. I wanted the columns in the picture so it would show the distance between all three places. It also added a foreground to the photo. I hope you all enjoy and I look forward to your comments.

Since your last post! 3 months :)

But this is a great post to continue your saga. I like the framing of columns because of the sharp edges to produce lines of light+shadow in this B&W version. As if looking out a large window to the reflecting pool and down to Washington and the Capitol.

I had stood here before, facing the Lincoln statue with awe and then looking back to this same view. Out of so many US monuments, I particularly am most impressed by Lincoln sitting on his high chair, looking down.

Your capture here is working well because the depth is provided nicely. Good work.
