| Another from the Georgetown (Wash, DC) venue of the World Wide Photo Walk. Shot from about 25 meters and cropped down. She looks totally en rapt in her studies. |

Hi Bill
Perfect place to read a book, with regard to the shot is perfect, very clear DOF. Excellent contrast!!!

Bill,
I saw other members on the walk who shot her as well from different angles and yours was the best that I saw. I wonder what she thought of the whole thing—I mean you can't miss 50 photographers buzzing around and not pick up at least a dozen in your peripheral vision.
What I like best about this photo is that it shows how comfortable she is here and it makes you want to take a turn reading there when she is done. If only we all had trees like that readily accessible.
Excellent composition,
MP

Hey Bill (that's odd),
Like Mike said, I can't imagine how self-conscious she must have felt with all those cameras pointed in her direction. I know I have to get my clients to relax when it's just me, let alone probable 30 different people.
She doesn't show any signs of acknowledgment so she's either really good at ignoring it all or completely absorbed in her book.
This is a great candid shot. Well-composed and timed. I wish she had pulled her hair back from her face, but that's something you couldn't really control.
I still can't believe she's actually as comfortable as she looks in the photo. That would hurt my head.
Great work!
